Alexandra Duvall was stalking something. She wouldn't let it win. Then she heard another noise. Taking advantage of her abilities, she tackled the large man to the ground only to find out it was Jason Connor. She's hunting the Dream Killer that was released from her mind, her nightmares.

They had been lovers as well as coworkers at the Center. Then the dream killer was released and nothing was ever the same. Six months later, only Alex was able to track it easily. She was determined to stop it once and for all. They still love one another, something neither had told the other.

Can they stop this dream killer? Can they force it back into the dream realm or destroy it completely? Can Alex and Jason work together, regardless that they want to keep each other safe?

This is a great story, albeit short. I'd have loved to seen this more fully developed and going indepth regarding the dream research as well as the other aspects. If you want something intriguing, short, and hot, this is the story for you. Though the external conflict doesn't get as much development as it deserved, this story does give you a great feel in regards to the romance.

Marco is a vampire on a mission. He needs to teach Amara a lesson about what real vampires are, but will he be the one who learns a lesson in love?

Amara is a recently out of work actress from the Midnight series of movies. Her life is crashing down around her. Will Marco be her escape, her salvation? Or will life's little lessons be too much to handle?

Midnight has strong characters and a good plot. It's good in that it doesn't ramble and go off the plot as I've seen many books sometimes do. Its straightforward-in-your-face style will keep you reading. It'll definitely leave you sweating as it is very explicit. Most definitely not for the faint of heart.

I certainly enjoyed this book. Vampires are my preferred genre, and when they're hot and sexy it makes it even more wonderful to read. I would like to see more of Elisa Adams' writing in the future. I would recommend this one for all of you who enjoy erotica and/or vampires, and even those of you looking to expand your reading preferences.
