Teenagers have questions and this book offers some solid answers! Point of Grace, a popular Christian vocal group, has been sharing their faith through song for more than a decade. For this book, they collected questions from teenage girls who had attended their concerts or conferences. The result is a frank and faith-filled dialogue that is certain to strike a chord of interest with young people.
The subjects discussed include dating, faith, sex and friends. There is even a section titled, "Difficult Issues", in which Nancy Alcorn, founder and president of Mercy Ministries, shares her sensitive and wise counsel. The questions chosen for this book are emotionally packed and relevant to the teen world. There is a note of genuine searching throughout these pages, as the teens express their fears and confusion with many issues.
The members of Point of Grace, Denise, Heather, Shelley and Leigh, take turns answering the queries. Yet, there is an amazing sense of unity because each woman looks to Scripture as the final authority. In fact, every page contains an appropriate Bible verse that gives God's view on the subject. Their writing style reflects their Christian compassion and concern, and will touch hearts with its sensitivity. It's obvious they sincerely desire the best for their young fans.
This book exposes teenage girls to a mindset that is different from the world's perspective. The members of Point of Grace gently walk alongside their teenage readers to show them the results of a life dedicated to the Lord. Their words will be a source of inspiration and motivation!
