General Thalassic Harmon is the ultimate warrior. Savior of the Earth and revered by everyone on Earth. She sacrificed much to save her world, her home, to protect her daughters. Lately, she's begun to question her sacrifice. Was saving the world worth giving up a close relationship with her daughters? With her oldest Daiquiri on a Scarth vessel headed for Earth, Tequila fading after the death of her husband and child and Martini pregnant again after a recent miscarriage, the weight of the world is pressing down. Will she be able to find the peace she requires?

Only one person knows what Thalassic needs, her mate Darvic Gundersson. Submissive in all things, except in the bedroom, Darvic understands his woman better than she does herself. Tonight he will take her past anything they've ever experienced to a point where she must release her fears and worries and find peace.

Wow. This novella is simply amazing. It's tender, erotic, sensual, emotional, and unforgettable. Thalassic's character is revealed in bits and pieces in the previous Women of Steel books and finally readers are given a chance to see what makes Thalassic such an incredible character. The relationship between Darvic and Lassi is absolutely heartwarming. You'll envy their relationship and want one just like theirs. I cannot wait to see what else Camille has planned for this series. I know it will be just as incredible as Some Like It Hot!

Reading through the first two books in the Women of Steel series, you know Earth is at war and the invaders kill all males and take females prisoner, but you don't know why they're taking the females or even what type of creature they are. Frozen Daiquiri answers all those questions.

Daiquiri Harmon, daughter of General Thalassic Harmon, had been captured in battle. Taken by the Scarth, she and the other women of her division were being held prisoner in caverns. Very cold caverns and they weren't allowed clothes. Every few weeks more women were taken away and never seen again. Daiquiri refused to allow this to continue. They would fight their captors, not giving in. Death was honorable, surrender unthinkable.

Chosen by the Scarth queen as a gift for the War Lord Lorrkar, Daiquiri refuses to give into whatever her enemy plans. But when she is taken to a warm room and tied down on top of warm sand, she relaxes and falls sleep. Awakening to find a vaguely humanoid male before her, she determines to fight, until she learns he doesn't believe the war should continue. In the short time they spend together, she falls for her captor and together they devise a plan to bring an end to the war.

But will her people believe her and Lorrkar? Or will they destroy the approaching Scarth vessels and denounce Daiquiri as a traitor?

Whoa, I never thought it possible to think of anything vaguely insectoid as sexy, but Camille Anthony has changed my mind. So much is explained in Frozen Daiquiri and it only serves to increase your desire to see what happens in the next book. Daiquiri is a strong heroine and even though she has her moments of weakness, she is determined to be strong and encourage her fellow prisoners. She knows they look up to her and she doesn't want to let them down. Lorrkar is intriguing male and it's very easy to fall for him. He has wisdom, patience and a desire to learn about human mating customs. His race never kissed!

Camille's gift is apparent in Frozen Daiquiri. There is a sense of urgency and desperation, but also intense sexuality and eroticism. I cannot wait for the next installment in the Women of Steel series!
