In Frozen Daiquiri, book three of the Women of Steel series, General Daiquiri Harmon had been given to the Scarth War Leader Lorrkar as his sand slave. Instead of being owned by this alien, her enemy, she found a love to thaw her heart and a male worthy to be her consort. Lorr shared her views on peace and understood her need to be in command and respected her for it. He was everything she'd ever hoped for in a consort.

Strawberry Daiquiri picks up where book three ends. Here we see Daiquiri and Lorr planning and scheming to bring peace to their races. But in a Hive where everything is monitored and humans are seen as inferior, can they make a strong impression on the Senior Hive Queen? One that will force the Queens to see Daiquiri as their equal and listen to what she has to say?

First thing I have to say is: "Evil Author! Evil! Evil! Evil! Ending the story there is just pure torture." *grins* I have to admit, I enjoyed Strawberry Daiquiri even more than its predecessors. I loved seeing more of the Scarth world, customs and learning the reasons behind their attack. Having read all of the books in this series, I am once again amazed at Camille's talent for world-building. She's a master storyteller, crafting characters for readers to fall in love with and desire to know more of throughout the entire length of the series. This story carries an urgency to it as Lorr and Daiquiri prepare to make peace between their worlds even if the Hive Queen resists.

Strawberry Daiquiri is amazing and a must read!

Being born and raised in New India, Chastity had a life none of the civilized ladies could fathom. A hoyden, her father called her...and he was right. Chastity grew up free and unhindered by society's restraints. All her life she has seen a tall dark man in her dreams, at first he terrified her, later the erotic turn that her dreams took left her aching. Darian-Dare the Devil-Acer has been disinherited after being accused of taking his sister-in-law as his lover as well as his brother's subsequent suicide. Thumbing his nose at society, his rakehell ways became infamous; no one could touch his heart until he met Chastity...seeing her, changed all his rules.

Charming The Snake is an anthology of three wonderful stories, all of which I enjoyed tremendously. Savage Scavenge has incredible mutants, easy to like; Seducing The Saint has unexpected twists and scorching love; Carte Blanche has strong heroine that is enraptured by a gorgeous rake with some pretty humorous moments. With strong storylines and characters, I loved all three and I look forward to more from these very talented authors.
