Lynne Temple, newly divorced and about to make life happen, finds herself stranded on a windy snowy road in the Appalachians mountains, as she's driving cross-country. Lynne loses control over her car, and crashes into a tree. As she fades into unconsciousness, she spies a man heading to her car, in shackles on his hands and feet. Jesse Redshaw was an escaped convict; imprisoned for rape and murder. He rescued Lynne and she is now his captive.
I'm rather amazed with this story. You see, Jesse is into bondage, really into it. And now that he's nursed Lynne back to health, he is walking around with a perpetual hard-on.
When Lynne wakes, she recognizes Jesse. She knows who he is and what he's been imprisoned for. But, her life is just beginning. She doesn't want to die. So, she figures she'll do anything to please him. Anything at all, so that he'll let her live, and hopefully eventually let her go.
So, she willingly becomes his sex slave. During their many, many encounters they get closer and closer. She begins to trust him, and he begins to fall in love with her. He teaches her more about sex and her body than she learned in the 10 years of her marriage. With his explanation of being wrongly convicted, the way he nursed her back to health, and what she learned about sex, she falls in love with him.
Now, how in the world is Ms. Black going to tie up (pun intended) Vanished? Is Jesse a serial rapist and murderer? Is Lynne going to just stay with him indefinitely? Is it even possible to reconcile what happened between the two of them in that cabin, with both of them falling in love? Well, you just may have to find those answers for yourself when you read Vanished.

In Seized, by Jaid Black, we are treated to another installment of the Trek Mi Q'an series. Seized, is the story of Geris, who, at the beginning of the story, is in a state of shock after watching her best friend being abducted by two giants.
She spends three years, going from source to source, trying to find a lead, any lead, on her best friend, Kyra's disappearance. She at last ends up with a lead to go to Las Vegas, of all places, where she will find information about Kyra.
Almost immediately upon arriving there, she spots one of the giants. Though terrified, she is highly anticipatory, aroused even. She decides she'll confront him to learn the fate of her friend.
From this point on we are on this fun trek with Geris, as she, too, is abducted. But, her captor excites her, really excites her. After all, his is a seven foot tall golden god. She is whisked away to his world to become his queen.
All the while adjusting to the many changes she has to contend with, along with her lust and, gasp! love for Dak, Geris has another problem, sort of. You see, the creatures Geris runs upon during her journey have a way to keep her occupied.
Then there is Dak, her sexy king. This love affair is very touching, and often humorous, and very sexy. He teaches her about a "woman's joy" in ways she never thought imaginable.
So, if you are fond of reading erotic romance, and want a good story with lots of twists and turns, then, by all means, grab a copy of Seized, a great futuristic novel, and treat yourself to this delicious concoction.
Publisher's Note: We advise you to read this installment after No Fear. The Trek series should be read in the following order: Book 1, Book 2, Book 3, Book 4, Book 4.5, Book 5, Book 1.5, Book 5.5. We apologize for any confusion, however, we cannot change the name of a title after it has been released!
