A forensic psychologist, Amanda Bell Brown was a strong woman; she'd overcome her demons and was trusting God with her future. She didn't expect her faith to be tested quite like this. Lt. Jazz Brown was gorgeous, funny and a Christian to boot. He was also unavailable.

What's a forty-year old woman to do when presented with such a test? Pray and do her best not to fall in love and definitely avoid spending time with him. Unfortunately, the latter might be a bit hard as Bell and Jazz are forced to work together on a homicide case. A case that will force Bell to face and slay her own dark past. Will her faith falter or see her through?

An utterly, unforgettable debut! Murder, Mayhem and a Fine Man is a riveting mystery and an uplifting tale of faith. Bell's faith is integral to the storyline and as the plot unfolds it adds layer upon layer of depth to Bell's character. She is so human that when her past demons resurface we see her struggling to maintain her faith. Detailed imagery, realistic, believable characters and situations captivate and leave you wanting more. This reviewer is eagerly awaiting Claudia Mair Burney's next novel.
