Since birth, Noele, Faerie princess of D'Naath, has been destined to wed Garick, the Elvin king of Winterland. Law states that they are to be married on the day of the Winter Solstice. This joining between Noele and Garick will join their two kingdoms together to strengthen their territory and keep it from the hands of the evil wizards.
Noele is one of five sisters, who each have similar destinies. Will Noele and Garick make a love match and be truly united? Or will Garick follow acceptable custom after his wedding night and give Noele over to Roarke, his protector and right hand in the Kingdom of Winterland?
All of Noele's life has been carefree. Now she faces serious duties, and the possibility of being given to Roarke. What power does Noele hold that just might bind Garick to her? Why does Garick immediately think that a love match could never occur between him and Noele? These questions are answered quite nicely as Noele and Garick's pasts come to play while they learn each other and deal with the changes in their lives.
Kismet: Winterland Destiny is a great fantasy novel. The eroticism and the strong characters blend together nicely to create a wonderful story. From the sexual encounters between Garick, Noele and Roarke, to watching two hearts bind together for a lifetime, this is a story by Burton you won't want to miss.

Is it possible to love someone enough to want to follow that person to the ends of the earth or beyond? That is what marine biologist, Dr. Isabelle King, quickly determines once she meets and spends time with the mysterious Dax.
Isabelle is at the Paradise Resort, planning on doing some heavy duty research and cataloging of marine life. She is also looking for an elusive and unique sea creature, The Pegasus Turtle. Isabelle loves her job; she's been drawn to it since she was a child. When she looks out into the Caribbean ocean at the resort, she spots something. It looks like a man. As a matter of fact, it looks like the man she thought she saw when she was a teen, in Puerto Rico, standing in front of the ocean. It can't be.
Isabelle's curiosity nearly gets her killed, and this is where we meet the amazing Dax. Dax is of the sea people - a guardian who protects the sea and all in it. Dax knows he should have left when Isabelle first spotted him, but he couldn't. He already knew she was coming to the island, as the psychic connection established over fourteen years ago is just as intense, and he finds he cannot resist her.
Isabelle senses Dax while dreaming, then later on a dive. Then Dax introduces himself as a guest staying at the bungalow next to her. Isabelle finds out they are both after the same thing - The Pegasus Turtle - so they proceed to go on several dives together. Isabelle finds their common interest in biology only part of the reason she spends time with Dax. She finds she is attracted to him beyond all reasoning.
Isabelle needs answers, but unlike the prim and proper biologist, she lets her body do the talking and ignores her curiosity about this strange man, wondering whether or not he is even human. Her strong instincts tell her to trust Dax, as well as a continual sense of déjà vu. So, out with the logical, in with the sensual.
Whether on land, in the sea, or at the delectable Paradise Resort, breathless kisses, deep emotion, touching, tasting, and incredibly romantic words are all part of the joy experienced between Dax and Isabelle. There is worry, there is fear - both for Dax and Isabelle. Dax is concerned because he knows he can't keep her, as he is of the sea, and she is of the land, yet he cannot keep his hands off of her, nor can he keep his heart from being involved. Isabelle doesn't know what is going on with Dax, but she trusts him and the explosive passion she experiences with Dax is unlike she's ever known. With a disturbing past foremost in her mind, Isabelle is unsure whether or not to think of her time with Dax as anything more than a fling.
Jaci Burton writes delectable scenes that are tangible, combustible and explosive. Sensing Dax and Isabelle's desires and emotions is as intense as the worry on how their future will develop. Dax and Isabelle make a delightful couple. This exciting third installment in the successful Passion in Paradise series is just as effective as the first two - Paradise Awakening and Paradise Revival. If you haven't had a chance, grab all three now, as these are true keepers. Be sure to visit Ms. Burton's website at www.jaciburton.com. You will find a great resource on all of her current books, as well as works in progress.
