Pamela Gray is going to Las Vegas for a business trip-- to design author, E. D. Faust's new home. What she doesn't count on is that her trip will be anything but ordinary. From the ostentatious Caesar's Palace to the Bellagio Fountains, nothing is neglected as the gods and goddesses from Mount Olympus come to Las Vegas. During an invocation by the nymphs, Pamela, slightly tipsy actually finishes it properly, thus binding Artemis to her. The only way the bond can be broken is by Artemis granting Pamela's heart desire-- to be romanced. In desperation, Artemis turns to Apollo, her brother.
Apollo agrees, but beyond that, he is searching for something too. Ever since Hades found his soul mate, Apollo has realized something was missing from his life. Meeting Pamela, he recognizes it-- love. True love. Can the God of Light convince the gun shy mortal that he truly loves her? What happens when they also face the wrath of Bacchus? Does love conquer all-- including death?
Being a fan of mythology, I couldn't wait to get this book. Seeing how Artemis and Apollo were portrayed, I felt satisfied. PC managed to convey the true essence of the gods without making them seem unbelievable. Though there were moments when I felt Pamela was trying too hard to cling to things that she should've let go, I loved this story. It moved with a beauty and grace found on Olympus among the gods. This is a true romance story for the ages. The ending was a bit of a shocker, but it made it just that much better. The portrayal of the Twins was superb and watching them both realize that there were more to mortals than they thought was a lesson worth remembering for ourselves. If you want a new myth for our age, pick up Goddess of Light immediately. You won't be disappointed.

Air Force Sergeant Christine Canady wishes for a bit of magic in her life. For her twenty-fifth birthday, magic comes to her unexpectedly-- a goddess summoning ritual and the blessing of Gaea that comes to her. She's transported into the past and saved by a knight in shining armour, but the one she aches for is Dylan-- a sexy merman. Can she find love within the ocean or must she always be land bound?
PC Cast has given us a beautiful new myth to add to the goddess mythologies today. What a wonderful love story that takes mythology, history, and the paranormal to a new level. From the wonderful setting through the true natures of men towards women in that time, PC gives you a satisfying deep story that at the end, you can only say, "Wow." Definitely a keeper worth rereading, you'll find yourself searching for the rest of the Goddess series.
