Mixtionary is more fun than playing with the letters in your alphabet soup! These very clever authors have coined some valuable words, bringing clarity and a few chuckles to contemporary conversations.

This cute little hardcover book is small enough to slip into a purse or back pocket, thereby making it easy to whip out when other verbal expressions or hand gestures don't fully convey your meaning. Each page features a new word, which has been formed by two other words. Comic artist Shawn McManus illustrates the definition of these terms with the perfect dash of humor.

The words are arranged under several subheadings, making it easier to find that special expression when you're speechless. Those in the business world will appreciate the meaning of 'bureaucrap', while the Ebay junkies in your life finally get a handle called 'bidiot'. Relationship issues, fashion statements and society in general are all described with new terms that tease the true meanings.

Mixtionary walks a fine line between factual and funny, thereby solidly connecting to readers who have a sense of humor, as well as a sense of appreciation for the outrageous.
