Abomination is sensational! The pages of this book will literally tremble in readers' hands as the plot pulses with power and purpose. Captivating and suspenseful from the very beginning, this novel may be Colleen Coble's best work yet.

As a serial killer mutilates his victims and leaves them at geocaching sites, the police desperately piece together sketchy clues. But when Eve Alexander becomes a target, the evidence starts to point to a frightening and fatal conclusion.

The author brings a unique and thoroughly fascinating element to this mystery with the inclusion of geocaching. This fun sport employs GPS technology, Internet posts, and logical thinking to find various hidden objects. Yet, this takes on a more sinister flair when the story's killer uses this pastime to direct searchers to his victims' bodies.

As the suspense steadily builds, readers will try to solve this case along with the professionals. Viewed through the main character's perspective, Eve's brush with death as well as the resulting amnesia adds an additional layer of mystery. A religious overtone to the killings is present as the murderer exacts revenge based on a proverb. The cast of characters played their parts to perfection, making it impossible for this reviewer to figure out 'who dunnit'. A delightful dash of love enters the story, contrasting beautifully with the gruesome murders. Fear and faith walk shoulder to shoulder in this novel, creating an eerie atmosphere that can only be conquered by courage.

Excellent writing and expert plotting make Abomination a first-class suspense!
