Never a big fan of astrology or the traditional zodiac, I was intrigued by the title of Angelica Danton's book. A follower of a goddess-oriented path, I was curious to see how she defined the goddess signs and which one I would fall under. As I began reading, I was intrigued by her use of the Chinese zodiac. I've always enjoyed learning about the Chinese zodiac and always believed it offered more insight than any other.
The goddess signs are divided into five sub-sections: Moon Goddesses, Sun Goddesses, Earth Goddesses, Warrior Goddesses and Dark Goddess. Each of the twelve animal signs falls under one of the categories. Detailed information on each animal is given, along with specific rituals, colors, gems, lucky numbers and more. Ms. Danton even goes a step further by listing all the quality traits of each sign and where they might have problems in their personality and everyday life. She touches on the way the signs handle love, money, childhood, spirituality and health.
With its blend of Eastern and Western astrology, numerology, Goddess Signs will help any woman find and recognize her inner goddess and the power she possesses. For me to recommend any astrology-based book, I must be able to find a match to my personality. Born in the year of the Tiger, I'm the 'Natural Huntress' and all of the characteristics of this sign are found in my personality. I found it very interesting to read and was able to put to use the information about my sign.
Whether for fun or for insight, you can't go wrong with Goddess Signs. I highly recommend it.
