Tess Iverson is upset. Almost livid at the station manager, Howie, as he's told her that she will share the anchor spot with a male coworker, whether she likes it or not. Jared Cox will be working with her and she best get over her attitude and work with the program. Jared Cox enters the room and Tess is blown away by the man, especially when he tells her who he is. He's determined to make the best of this job and do right by the station. Tess doesn't want to like him. Hell, he's perfect for the demographics and more, but she doesn't want to admit to herself that he's damn attractive and that part of her wants him.
When they go live on primetime, he saves her by joking that she was trying to save the audience from dealing with a Yankee, and she's almost livid that he usurped her while the feminine part of her had serious moments of lust and desire. When Jared starts breaking down her walls and forces Tess to take a long hard look at herself, will she like herself? Or will she have to make changes? Can she? What about Jared? Does he want her, with those looks he gives her, or is he only playing a game?
News has never been so hot or interesting as it is in this story. Paris Dixon gives us a look inside at the competitive world of journalism and how sometimes we don't know what's good for us, especially when we think that all we need is to focus on one goal and ignore other factors in our life. This is an erotic story whose ending will make you wonder and more. Sometimes we need a distraction, a release from our own narrow ways and yes, sometimes hot, sultry, no bars held sex can be the release that's truly needed. Paris has truly made a story that not only heats up the airwaves, but also the print.
