Reading PlagueMaker may cause rapid page turning and accelerated heartbeats. Breathing may come in gasps and sleeplessness could occur. However, the treatment is simple. Keep reading to the last page to experience an outrageously great book. You can worry about lowering your blood pressure some other time!
The plot is cutting edge and contemporary. Someone wants to spread a deadly plague on millions of innocent and unsuspecting people. At a fireworks display in New York City, a host of disease-carrying fleas are positioned to explode from the sky in a finale of death. FBI agents fight against time and a terrorist who has spent his entire life preparing for this moment.
This story spans the globe, from America, to Syria, to a small village in Japan. The history and emotional elements from these locations tie together in a brilliantly executed plot. Each character adds a new face and facet to this story. Meticulous research gives this book a sense of realism that rivals the evening news. Biological terrorism is explored through the characters' thoughts and actions. Readers will gain a new understanding of this modern way of fighting, while also shuddering at the implications.
Yet, the physical action is only part of this incredible story. The author has seamlessly woven a thread of love and hope in this tale of impending disaster. This flicker of life appears as a tiny flame that bursts upon these pages at a most unexpected moment. Gasps of grief will turn to exclamations of surprise, and the memory of that moment will remain for a long time.
PlagueMaker is an unstoppable story!
