Angie loved to read; she read anything and everything. Her most favorite tales were those of King Arthur, Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table. On a trip with her parents, she falls asleep in the car and dreams of Camelot, only to awaken to find herself in the hall of a castle.

The bastard son of the king, Reynart knew his position as heir to the throne could change in an instant, which is why he was in a hurry to reach his suite unseen. If the Queen, his stepmother, learned he'd been dueling with her son, his half-brother, without a mage present...Reynart didn't want to think about the consequences.

Climbing up the back stairs, he comes upon a blonde angel. Knowing the danger to her reputation is she's seen with him, he hides her when soldiers looking for an escaped prisoner search the stairwell. Realizing instantly the angel was the prisoner they sought, Reynart knew he should have turned her in. So why didn't he?

Could it be the fact she didn't run when meeting him the hall? Or the fact she trusted him to protect her? Or was it the simple fact that she wanted to spend time with him? Not Reynart, heir to the throne, but Reynart the person.

He hides her in his quarters until they can determine how and why Angie was brought to Nord D'Rae. As the two spend time together, their once uneasy friendship blossoms into love. Yet, dark forces plot against Reynart and will use Angie against him if they find her. Is their fledgling love strong enough to withstand the treachery surrounding them?

I've always believed the mark of a great author was his/her ability to leave readers wanting more. Jennifer Dunne is a superb author and the ending of Not Quite Camelot will have you shouting "No!" and hastily searching Cerridwen Press for details on book two.

Not Quite Camelot...there was so much about this tale I loved I don't know where to begin. Dunne creates a world familiar yet new, exciting and unique. The reader is immediately swept into the story, the internal politics and into the lives of Reynart and Angelique. And what a lovely strong, smart, caring hero and heroine they are. Angie may have no idea why she's in another world or even how she came to be there but that doesn't stop her from making a quick decision to trust Reynart. She learns his history, trusts and loves him completely. Your heart aches for Reynart as you learn his history and how he is treated.

A deeply emotional, adventurous, romantic fantasy...Not Quite Camelot is a keeper!

Shifters is a paranormal made up of four wonderfully different stories written by some of today's best authors.

General Bayard was sent to the newly taken town (and surrounding areas) of Kittern. He hopes that if he stabilizes the castle and surrounding areas and wins over the townsfolk, the King will allow him to stay on as Baron. But he is a very suspicious man and when some of the castle workers try to keep him from the woods that are next to the castle he is becomes more suspicious of them.

At a run down fort in the middle of the forest he encounters a beautiful injured woman. This woman touches something deep inside Bayard. She says the forest is hers and she is its protector. She is defiant but beautiful and Bayard can't help but fall in love with her. Can Bayard be able to convince this beautiful mysterious woman to marry him? But once the King finds out what she really is will he order her to be killed?

The Tower by Jennifer Dunne is an enchanting story. We are shown that the power of love can change the most suspicious and hardened man and make him into one that we all can't help but like.
