Fallen Angels brings us something Lori Foster fans have come to expect, and thoroughly enjoy - three connected stories. First we have the reissue of Beguiled, then there is the reissue of the hard-to-find Wanton, and a great new story, Uncovered.

Beguiled

Private investigator Dane Carter's twin, Derek, is dead. Dane steps into Derek's life for two reasons: for the sake of the family business, and to try and ascertain whether or not his brother was murdered. The first person Dane plans to meet is Angel Morris, his brother's last girlfriend. Is she the enemy? Could be, because during a hostile takeover, Angel was fired. Dane doesn't even have the chance to go to Angel. She comes to him. Angel is afraid to trust, and in fear, and she also needs protection. She's in danger, so she feels she has no choice but to go to Derek for help. As Dane's family kept Derek's death hidden, Angel doesn't know she is dealing with Dane - not Derek.

Beguiled is a great story, and an excellent choice for a reissue one of Lori Foster's books. When Angel approaches Derek, after not seeing him for several months, he seems different, more intense. He's also gentler, and begins to break down the barriers to Angel's heart. Beguiled has a sharp emotional edge to it, with enough intrigue to make this a great romantic suspense. Read this book, and you'll see how lust, however powerful, only lasts for a second with Angel and Dane.

Wanton

Celia Carter is bound and determined to prove herself, including making up for some things in the past. Her current goal is to find and save a missing girl named Hannah Barrington. Celia left her life of luxury and joined her brother's private investigation firm. Her newest job is quite dangerous, and Alec Sharpe, also a private investigator, makes it his business to keep a close watch on Celia. This creates problems, however, as Alec Sharpe is a danger to Celia's senses.

Alec's known Celia for about a year and a half. She's shut him out this entire time. Lust is taking over the bigger part of his brain, but there's something else there, a tenderness he feels for her, and that is something Alec doesn't like. Alec is hard, intense. A man convinced that he doesn't need or want love in his life. Alec is going to get Celia out of his system, one way or another. But first, he has to keep her from getting killed!

If someone had asked me before what my favorite Lori Foster book is, I would have said it is too hard to choose. But after re-reading Wanton, I'd have to say that Wanton is indeed my favorite. Alec's intense, sensitive and sensuous nature is utterly remarkable. How he affects and helps Celia, all while trying to deny the deep affect she has on him, is just wonderful. Alec is powerfully attracted to Celia, yet he only wants to sate his lust. Love is something Alec no longer has room for in his life. But Celia breaks down his defenses. For readers that have been scouring used bookstores looking for this incredibly good book by Ms. Foster will definitely get their money's worth when they purchase Fallen Angels.

Uncovered

Harris Black and Clair Caldwell are good friends as well as jogging buddies. Clair's smitten and Harris hasn't shown any sexual interest. Harris is a firefighter, and after a warehouse fire near Clair's apartment building, he finds a shoebox full of pictures of a naked woman - and letters stating the woman was madly in love with him. As Clair works for private investigators Dane and Alec (from Beguiled and Wanton), Harris hires the firm to locate the woman. With her nude pictures, which were taken by a previous boyfriend without her consent, floating around the office, and possibly soon, the small town, Clair must find a way to end this investigation. What will happen when Harris finds out his secret admirer and Clair are one and the same?

I enjoyed this story by Ms. Foster. It's shorter the first two in the anthology, but since I met Harris in Men of Courage and Riley, I was able to jump right into the story. This story has delightful humor in it as well, and nicely rounds off this wonderfully engaging anthology.

Even though Ms. Foster connects her stories, they all stand alone. However, if you are like me, you will want to read all of Lori Foster's books, and even re-visit favorites as time goes on. So, be sure to pick up a copy of Fallen Angels, because this book has intrigue, danger, passion and love, and is a great read that you won't want to miss.

Gil Watson just found out he's a father to two year-old Nicole in Bringing up Baby by Lori Foster. He found this fact out after the baby's mother, Shelly, was killed in a car crash. Gil has two problems. #1 - Anabel Truman, who's been taking care of Nicole, is a woman he wants, a woman he's always wanted. Problem #2 - He's a father, and he's in love with his daughter. Though being a father is not a problem at all, his life is about to change in more ways than one. When I started this novella, I knew it would have a great emotional impact. After just a few pages, the emotional level of this story of Gil and Anabel made itself very clear. Take a few moments and read this beguiling story by Ms. Foster. It's not often when reading erotic romance there are children in the picture. But, little Nicole will steal your heart, just as quickly as she stole Gil's.

Bad Boys to Go is another delightfully sexy anthology by Brava. Three terrific authors pen equally terrific and tantalizing novellas that will titillate your senses. Each novella has a great tale that will leave you satisfied. Be sure to visit each author's website to see what they have in store. There will be no shortage of great stories from each and every one of these talented ladies.
