The Seven of Swords deals with running away from responsibility when you know you need to face the problems head on. Sometimes it means being a lone wolf, thinking that only you can solve the problem without help.

Max Logan was returning back to the same place he had left many years before. He hopes to crash at Kildare's Rest, a Bed and Breakfast that he often stayed at while growing up. When he gets there, it's run down and more. When he goes inside, he encounters Fiona Kildare.

Fiona needs help. Her contractor has bailed on her, with her money and she needs to get major renovations finished to the Rest before her customers come. When Max offers to do the renovations in exchange for room and board, she wants to say no. The man played havoc on her body and heart years ago, and she wasn't sure she could handle it again. But in the end, she needed his help.

For Max, all bets are off when he realizes Fiona is single. He wants her in his life, and knows that sometimes you have to make up when you've done wrong. For Fiona, her life is turned upside down with Max there, and her memories of being with him won't leave her alone. The question is, will they give into the attraction and more that still exists? Will Max really stay now that he owns his own construction company?

This is an intense story that deals with healing the past and moving forward. It's a story about making a fresh start and listening to others. Arianna Hart has made an erotic story that shows how the past can be amended by facing the wrongs done and rectifying them. If you want a story that takes you to the edge and gives you a satisfying ending, you'll find it with The Lone Wolf Returns.

How many times have you found yourself threatening, "If you two can't get along, I'm going to have to lock you both in a room until you work out your differences."? Have you ever really followed through? Well, Arianna Hart certainly has in her debut novel, Stranded. She's taken an often talked about situation and turned it into something quite remarkable.

As the story unfolds we meet sisters, Ciara and Molly, and soon discover that Ciara is not only very overprotective but she has a biting edge to her particular brand of humor. The reason for this is that for a good portion of her life, Ciara was always waiting in the shadows while her sister sparkled under the spotlight. Everyone who came into contact with the two sisters always marveled at Molly's beauty, grace, and charm. Seldom was Ciara the center of attention. Their personalities as well as their looks were as different as night and day. It was this very reason that Ciara thought herself to be the ‘frumpy older sister'.

It seems that Ciara has been having a bit of a problem, with Ross, the best friend of Molly's fiancée. Ross and Ciara get along like two repelling ends of a magnet, like water and oil. The friction and tension they create amongst themselves spills across all those who are in their company. Yet, Ciara wouldn't mind being the fantasy come to life in Ross's life. Deep down not only does she have a hidden desire for him, but those same overpowering emotions cause her to spout off at the mouth whenever he's around.

Now that her wedding day is fast approaching, Molly doesn't want to take any chances that her special day will be ruined. She yearns for it to be a beautiful, perfect day to remember and she's determined to have that wish come true no matter what. She and her future husband, Lance, develop a plan to get Ciara and Ross together at Lance's secluded, hideaway cabin, with no means of escape, and have them stay there for an entire week until they can work out their differences. This is where the fun starts and the titillating fingers of seduction begin to work their erotic magic.

What Ciara and Ross soon discover is they are both attracted to each other. Never in their wildest dreams would they have ever thought anything like this could happen. Tucked away inside closets and drawers the cabin holds a myriad of erotic surprises, enough to fulfill the fantasies of the stranded couple.

With each new turn of the page, another highly stimulating dream is acted out. Ross turns out to be such a wonderful and romantic man that Ciara is completely caught off guard. She had thought of him as a womanizer, an arrogant male who only used women for his own needs and then let them go. Much to her surprise, he is anything but that. What Ross soon comes to understand, also, is that Ciara's biting tongue comes from years of feeling less than beautiful, less than worthy of attention. He wants nothing more than to change all of those negative thoughts of hers. His greatest pleasure is seducing her into believing she is a beautiful woman, not only on the outside but on the inside, too. Now, you must read the rest for yourself. I dare not write another word, for the element of surprise should be a firsthand experience.

The story of Ross and Ciara is highly charged with steamy particles scattered throughout the pages of this novel. Sensually delightful, and tinged with emotional outpourings, Stranded will have you forgetting to breathe. What I enjoyed most about this story is the combination of tenderness and carnal pleasures woven together, creating a classic fairy tale, set in a modern day erotic romance.

What a wonderful first novel for author, Arianna Hart. I see great things in her future as a writer - this is only the beginning for her. It is with pleasure that I was given the opportunity to read and review Stranded.
