When DEA Agent Kendall Fraiser's partner is killed, the last person she wants to see on her "vacation" is the person who was responsible for his death.

Agent Zane Vincent is quite aware that Fraiser wants nothing to do with him. Especially after he shot & killed her partner. He feels terrible about it enough without the forced vacation that the boss is sending him on with.

When they both end up on the same retreat, will Agent Fraiser be able to justify her angry feelings towards Vincent? She knows that it wasn't his fault but she still feels like she owes her dead partner some sort of grieving. But, her partner was an idiot and cocky and pigheaded and in all reality, that's what got him killed. Vincent was just the poor guy whose bullet her partner landed in front of. Plus, Vincent is just too hot to stay away from.

They soon realize that their attraction is mutual and when they realize it, all reasoning and obligations are out the door. Turns out that he is quite a nice guy after all. Nice in every way possible.

WOW. Now I know why I love cops so much. If they were all like Vincent, the police force would have to beat the women away with their billy clubs.

Agent Fraiser thinks she can't stand Vincent because she feels obligation to her dead partner. In all respect, are her feelings even justified in knowing that it was no ones fault?

Megan Hart never fails to amaze me with her story plots, her sexy characters & originality. You know that they each clearly have feelings for the other, but once they are "laid out on the table", the "friendly fire" quickly turns to light my fire & keep burning! A fun & exciting read, Friendly Fire burns with sizzle & spice.

In the future, people can have "sex robots" for pleasure, or Pleasurebots. They act and look like actual humans but are built around certain characteristics that are preferred by certain kinds of clients. There are different types of models, PSSN; LUV 180; PSSY models. Each has its own specialty.

Gemma is a Recreational Intercourse Operative. In other words, she is an officer and her duty is to test pleasure bots for faults that could cause the general public physical harm if they malfunction.

When she runs into Declan, she believes he is just another pleasure bot so she takes him back to the inspection station to make sure his switches are not faulty. Faulty, he is certainly not, when she discovers that he is, in fact, a real man - a human.

She can't get him out of her head and when she finds that her obsession is mutual, she discovers that she has a secret that he shares with her and it may just be the cause of their demise.

The imagination is out of this world, quite literally, in this sexy story set in the future. Passion Model is a prime example of a futuristic/erotica romance novel lover's dream with twists in every page and suspense along the way. Megan Hart has expressed her creativity flawlessly inventing characters and plots that only an original writer with a unique writing quality, can.
