Emma Fairchild was just seventeen years old when she first met Luke Forrester. He was her brother's friend and, oh so sexy. He was also way too old for her in age and experience, but looking never hurt.

Believing she was old enough to know what she wanted, she was devastated when Luke turned her down - flat. He believed he wasn't good enough for her and did not know what she truly wanted. He did not come from the well-to-do family with the strong background that she did and he knew he could never give her what she wanted or needed.

Now, years later, she is engaged to be married (in two weeks) to Michael Rutherford, another well-to-do with a strong background. Little does she know that she won't be attending her own engagement party.

She is whisked away to an unknown place with no contact with her family or Michael. When she finds out who her captor is, will she agree to his request? Or will she snub him like he did to her so long ago?

The Abduction of Emma is another wonderful view on a classical story. The wrong-side-of-the-tracks hunk falls for and tries his hardest to keep away from the lovely specimen of a woman that he knows has the same feelings for him. The problem is: she's too young and naive to understand the lust he has for her. Years later when he just can't get her out of his mind, he does the unthinkable and risks everything to have his chance with her. Just the kind of story I love to crawl into bed with and read straight to the ending.
