Jude Allman has died three times in the last several years. We're not talking about a three or four minute flatline. We're talking about died. Dead. Each time he comes back to life, there is a medical and media frenzy all around him. The overwhelming, and completely unwanted attention is enough to drive him into hiding. Changing his name, and moving to another state, he believes he has killed the real Jude Allman forever. Incognito as Ron Gress, a school janitor, Allman lives the simple life. Through a failed relationship with Rachel, he has one true glimmer of inspiration. Nathan. Their son.

Allman realizes his life is about to change once again when a strange, inquisitive reporter-like woman shows up at his door. She has questions that demand answers. And soon, Allman realizes he has the capability not only to wake from the dead, but to predict when other people are about to die. With a touch, people's lives are revealed to him in a vision.

At first, children are being abducted in neighboring counties. Then, the kidnappings strike close to home. The police chief immediately suspects the strange Ron Gress. In order to prove his innocence, Allman must first accept his responsibilities for being the person God created him to be, and then figure out how to expose the truth about him, and the kidnappings.

This is the kind of taut thriller that has you trying to guess the ending from the very beginning of the story. And no matter how many guesses you make, you'll still be wrong. Clever and intriguing, Hines' fast-paced story telling will have you turning page after page, disregarding time and other responsibilities until you reach the twist at the end! I eagerly look forward to more work by T.L. Hines.
