Moser’s illustrations are breathtaking in their realism and one expects them to come to life. Hodges draws from the Biblical account, adding believable details to enhance the original story. While my children are familiar with the story of Moses, they heartily enjoyed this book; it sparked an interest in the ways and customs of the time period and opened the way for more Biblical tales.
