The Scam is the real thing in political thrillers! A complex web of deceit stretches across the globe, threatening the economic stability of countries and leaving a trail of blood. The mastermind of this conspiracy is nameless and faceless, making it impossible to catch him. Until the only man who has ever escaped him decides to get into the game.

Jonathan Malone was a chess prodigy, but he stopped playing on the night his parents were brutally murdered. His innocent eyes watched this tragedy, while his brilliant mind developed a strategy for him to flee the carnage. Now, years later, he is a FBI agent determined to finish this deadly game with a decisive checkmate.

From the prologue to the last page, this book maintains a high level of suspense and action. The depth of this worldwide conspiracy is revealed in progressive increments, allowing the reader to understand the scope and the stealth of those involved. Although the tentacles of this terror seem mind-boggling at times, there is a realistic feel to the story as current technology supports this grand scheme. The characters possess a creative mix of compassion and cunning, causing them to be more than stick-figure soldiers. The author has gifted each of them with unique abilities and assets that contribute significantly to the story line.

As the intrigue touches all of the world's major organizations, from the CIA to Mossad, the notch of fear inches higher. Readers will begin to wonder if this mastermind can ever be ferreted out. This feeling of unrest and uncertainty lingers to the final pages, as the ending satisfies in a shocking way.

Sorcerer conjures up some serious supernatural suspense! When Michael Thorn retired from the police force and bought a home in rural New England, he envisioned a quiet life full of special moments with his wife and children. What he got was his worst nightmare. After discovering a skeleton in his basement, all hell broke loose - literally. He inadvertently opened up the burial place of one of the world's most powerful sorcerers, releasing powers that have existed for thousands of years. Michael vows to protect his family at any cost, but will his arsenal of weapons defeat a demon that was already dead?

Fast-paced action leads surprisingly to a deeper level of faith. The plot rests on the biblical account of Moses engaging Pharaoh's sorcerers in a supernatural showdown. As this ancient story impacts the modern world, it evokes not only a tingling sensation of fear, but also poses some possible scenarios. Although this book is work of fiction, the ideas presented about demons take shape through the words of Scripture. Readers will develop a respect for the powers of darkness, while triumphing in the sovereignty of God.

Unfortunately, the human characters lacked the depth of the demonic beings, but the author kept the interest level high by slowly explaining the depth of depravity Michael and his family fought against. The many action-packed scenes were well written, allowing readers a close-up view of this confrontation. History and mystery were molded into a seamless story with timeless significance. It's clear that this book was meant to do more than entertain. The supernatural situations that the characters encountered are designed to turn the eyes of readers heavenward. Faith and prayer stand at the forefront of this battle, making a stark contrast to the evil entities, which rely on a perverted source of power.

Sorcerer singes the pages with suspense, while soothing the hearts of believers. Now that's powerful writing.
