Samantha had grown up wanting to be a writer but when a childhood friend told her stories about tying girls up was not right, she put away her writing but still kept the stories as her secret sexual fantasy. It was because of all her fantasies that Samantha had a hard time getting interested in men. For some reason they all lacked the excitement of her fantasies.
When Peter joined her night class, Samantha wasn't sure what it was about him that drew her attention. Maybe it was the fact that he was a dominant and he didn't bother to hide it. Within a few conversations, Peter had let Samantha know what his sexual preferences were and that he thought that she was perfect for what he had in mind.
Learning Curve is all about Samantha opening up to all the fantasies for real. Peter has a gentle hand when it comes to showing Samantha the joys of being a submissive. Ms. Hunter was able to show two people who had a need for what the other had to offer.

Bantry Mac Murchadha loved his nephew. Granted the boy was trouble, but all boys went through a trouble-making stage. However, not all of them got drunk and stole treasures from a goddess. Bantry knew he had to do something and just before he tossed the stolen treasures into the ocean, the goddess Cliodna stopped him. She asked him to match each of the treasures to the right person, thereby allowing that person to find their heart's desire. How hard could it be to match a piece of tapestry, a harp and a rock to the right person?
Maggie hadn't wanted to come on this business trip with Liam Finnerty. She didn't even want to be working in her father's company. Experienced in textile art and art restoration, the torn piece of tapestry fascinated her. It was a work of art and while the hopes of finding the other piece was dim; she would love to have the opportunity to try. Unfortunately, she'd given up her dream of working in art restoration after her brother died to work in her father's company. Her father belonged to the old school and refused to give her a paycheck for the work she did in the company. There was no way she could afford the tapestry and definitely no way she'd ask her father's right hand man, Liam Finnerty, to buy it for.
Liam hated the woman's guts. Maggie Andrews might be the boss's daughter but she was a cold-hearted hard-ass. She might possess the body of a goddess, but her character left something to be desired. He didn't understand her obsession with the torn tapestry, but her accidental admission about not receiving a paycheck touched his heart. Still he didn't plan on buying the tapestry for her, not until he heard the leprechaun from the tapestry talk to him. At first, he dismissed the voice as a hallucination caused by the Irish coffee he drank, however, hearing the leprechaun say he would help Liam find his heart's desire factored rather heavily in his buying the tapestry.
Will Liam break the barriers surrounding Maggie's heart and help her rediscover the joy life has to offer? Will the two be able to find the rest of the tapestry and rejoin the two pieces?
Of all the novellas in Irish Enchantment, Stitches in Time is the one that moved me the most. Maggie was the type of heroine I prefer to see. Very devoted to her family, so much so she's willing to put aside her dreams to make others happy. It takes a great strength of character to finally make the decision to do what makes you happy, especially in Maggie's situation. Watching Liam bring out the best in Maggie and helping her rediscover herself was beautiful; and the fact he bought the tapestry for her because he knew it would make her happy was really sweet.
