Having lost her husband a few years before, it had been a while since Sarah had been on dates or even had sex. Emotionally, she didn't believe she was ready to be involved with someone else until a few years later. Only recently had she begun dating. She didn't expect anything special or magical to come out of dating Phillip. He was handsome, kind and fun to be around. Something in her recognized the controlled power he held and it surprised her when she agreed to return to his home with him and for that one night do everything he commanded.

Phillip had had his heart broken too many times to hide what he was and what he wanted in a relationship. He recognized Sarah's need for sexual submission, but would she be willing to put aside her assumptions and expectations and allow herself to become a slave?

When Sarah returns the next weekend ready to take her the step into sexual submission, she didn't realize she would lose her heart. But is it possible for her to remain an independent woman and still be a sexual slave? Especially when some of the ways Phillip trains her makes her mind scream at the wrongness of it? And is it necessary for all of her friends to know the true nature of their relationship?

Emotional, touching, unforgettable! There are not enough words to describe how much I enjoyed Secret Submission. Intense and powerful, yet tender and romantic, the relationship between Phillip and Sarah is one everyone longs to have. Yes, their relationship was that of Master and slave, but the love they shared is undeniable. Having read Ms. Hunter's other novels, I knew Secret Submission would be erotic, sensual, arousing; I didn't count on it touching me as it did. I admit I cried with Sarah as she learned the meaning of Obedience and Discipline. Finishing Secret Submission was almost painful; I really didn't want to leave the lives of Phillip and Sarah. At the same time, I was overjoyed because I was so emotionally taut, I couldn't have handled any more.

One of the things I truly enjoyed about Secret Submission is the tenderness Hunter depicts in the Master/slave relationship. I didn't feel debased reading about the way Phillip trained her body and mind. Every moment of this book was beautiful. Secret Submission is a keeper and Diana Hunter a must-buy.
