Ursula Carlson liked her life. As a ranking officer in the military, she'd found the stability and order she'd never received growing p in a foster care. Currently she was training with an elite group, using vampires in delicate situations. Everything was going well or so she'd believed until orders arrived to lead a team to exterminate the vampire nation. Making the choice to betray her country wasn't easy, but there was no way she could support the government's instructions to destroy innocent people.

Branded a traitor, Ursula must now place her life in the hands of the vampires she saved. Forced to use her knowledge of the military to lead individual rescue missions, she is constantly working with the handsome Sebastian. In the midst of danger, can they steal a few moments to explore their mutual attraction? As days pass, the risk of being caught becomes greater, but there are still innocent vampires to extract from the comprised safe houses. Can she trust those soldiers she once called friends to let her escape when one of their rescue attempts is detected?

J.M. Jeffries has always been one of my favorite authors and with Blood Seduction she reminded me why I buy everything she writes. With its edgier, suspenseful storyline, Blood Seduction secured my attention within minutes of opening the book and I didn't stop reading until I'd finished it. One of the things I enjoy about Jeffries' writing is her strong heroines and Ursula is one her best. She's strong, determined, courageous, and ever so sensual. Throw in plenty of adventure and danger, palpable sexual tension and delicious vampires. What more can you ask for? A must read!
