He had been at sea for seven days. Seven days without food or water. Hope had run out. Then suddenly, he spotted a dark shape... land. David Fraser paddled for all he was worth, but it was to no avail. Land stayed just beyond his reach. To make matters worse a storm had come. Caught in the storm's ferocity, he was unable to prevent his boat from being destroyed or from sinking into the depths of the ocean.

Gilly had always loved the ocean, but the ocean during a storm was even more beguiling. A selkie, she was part of the ocean and knew it would one day call her home. Tonight as she swam she reveled in the wildness until something brushed her leg. Was it a shark? She dove under and realized by the shape it was human. Her human nature wouldn't allow her to leave him and she brought him to the shore.

He awakened to find himself covered in blankets and lying on the beach. Who had saved him? He vaguely remembered a woman. A woman with large brown eyes. When his savior returns bearing water, David realizes he is drawn to Gilly. He can't get enough of her nor she him. At first, he couldn't understand why she insisted he realize he couldn't keep her, but it didn't matter.

As time passes, Gilly and David fall deeper in love, even though he doesn't know the truth. When David finally learns the truth and takes steps to ensure she won't ever leave him, will their love survive? Can Gilly and the child she now carries, his child, survive without the ocean depths?

A dramatic paranormal, Lady of the Seals is a tender love story of two people caught between their love and the ocean. Ms. Jewell weaves an astonishing amount of suspense, eroticism, and love into an unforgettable tale that further enhances the power of love. Gilly is a wonderful heroine, but it is David the reader is most drawn to. The reader is able to understand his actions and his doubts, but also cannot help but wish he would trust completely in Gilly's love. If you enjoy paranormal, hot sex, and a love that crosses all boundaries, then I highly suggest you don't miss Lady of the Seals.

Everyone knows the story of the dancing princesses. How their mother died and in an attempt to keep them safe, their father locks them in their room at night, never dreaming they'll find someway to get out. So what happens when this beloved fairy-tale falls into the hands of an Ellora's Cave author?

Fitz didn't really want to take this case. He didn't care for the way Mr. Collinwood locked his daughters into their room. Yet the instant he walked into the Collinwood house he felt it. Magic. He knew then he had to take the case, no matter how difficult it would be.

Difficult was an understatement. How was he supposed to find out where the girls went at night when their father wouldn't allow him to put a camera in their room or even sleep next door? Disgruntled and ready to quit, his friend Lily begs him to stay on the case, even giving him a gift to help his investigation along.

Using Lily's gift, he is able to sneak into the large walk-in closet within the girls' room. The oldest, Annabeth, quickly senses his presence and instinctively knows Fitz can help her. Help her free her sisters from their shadowy fantasy world and free her from the grasp of Eoin, the lord and master of the fantasy world.

Surprised by her request for help, Fitz can't bring himself to tell Annabeth he might not succeed, especially after he realizes the brutal Eoin had claimed her. In a fight for her sisters' souls will Fitz and Annabeth be strong enough?

Dark magic, unforgettably steamy sex scenes and a fairy-tale romance. What more could you ask for? Major kudos to Ms. Jewell for taking my favorite fairy-tale and making it even better. I thoroughly enjoyed 6 Enchanted Princesses; the characters were familiar and new, brimming with life and vitality. While the reader is assured of a happy ending (it is a fairy-tale, after all), the journey itself is full of twists and turns. Do not miss!
