Taggart Morgan II remembers his father's violent tirades. His father was a judge, but handled the four Morgan sons with violent abuse. Disowned, Tag never saw his father again once he left home. Tag still bears the physical scars of seventeen years ago, and it is doubtful that the emotional scars will ever leave. When he and his brothers are summoned to Rogues Hollow after his father's death, Tag, now an archaeologist, is left with a puzzle by his father. He's about to head to Ballantrae in Scotland, to figure out a part of his father's past, a recent legacy he and his brothers never knew anything about.

Readers will remember the Morgan bothers, Austin (Exposed from the Bad Boys Next Exit anthology), Jace (Baby, It's Cold Outside from the Jingle Bell Rock anthology) and Burke. As enjoyable as Austin and Jace's stories' are, we are given just as much delight with Tag's story. No doubt, Ms. Kauffman will soon entice her readers with Burke's story.

Tag discovers that there is a castle in Scotland, with caretaker Maura Sinclair. What was her relationship with his father? Will Tag continue to help support his father's investment - an investment no one knew about, except for his father's closest friend?

With Maura's interesting history, somehow intertwined with the Morgans, trying to save Ballantrae proves to be a burden and a responsibility. Her lover cheated on her, and she's facing a cold, lonely winter, and has no idea how she'll keep Ballantrae going. Why didn't Taggart help more? Can she appeal to his sons, knowing little about them except that they had a strained relationship with their father? It has been several months since Taggart's death now and no word. What will happen to Ballantrae?

When Tag heads to Ballantrae, the reasons are complex. He feels compelled to go there and to sort things out - without any idea of how his past, present and future will play in all of this. What gets Tag going is a chest full of letters that intrigue him beyond compare. He will have to go to Scotland to see about the castle and meet this Maura Sinclair, as well as to try and figure out why his father purchased the property three years ago in the first place.

Tag and Maura experience a surprisingly intense first meeting, albeit an anonymous one. They share a lust accompanied by such powerful emotion it has shaken Tag to the core. Tag's welcome to Scotland is indeed something he'll never, ever forget. Meeting Maura has changed his life on many levels, especially when they are properly introduced.

Ms. Kauffman writes an intensely sensual and romantic story for her fans. Tag's changing is utterly thrilling, while Maura's take on life, and their shared past, is truly romantic. Tag has always been more comfortable digging up Mayan ruins than anything else, never realizing how deep his passions run. When reading about how Maura and Tag share such incredible passion, Catch Me if You Can proves to be one of the best Kauffman reads to date.

Three of today's best authors come together to give us three hot stories about those "bad boys" who are every woman's fantasies. Those men who are very sexy, very confident and not afraid to push the boundaries to go after what they want.

Take one man who had a rough childhood and one woman who was orphaned from birth; throw in a long train ride that stopped in the middle of nowhere because of severe drifting from the snow storm that hit and what do you have? A very hot and exciting sexual interlude that will bring down the most harden shields protecting a heart.

Austin was a professional photographer, who traveled the world taking photos of beautiful women. The last thing he wanted to do was go back home for Christmas to take care of some family business and resurrect all those hurtful feelings he thought he left behind years ago. When the train he was on was stopped because of a snowstorm all he had to keep him busy was thinking of his old life at home...that is until he met a beautiful and intriguing woman standing outside the last train car in the snow taking pictures. Old memories were put to the back burner and he hoped new erotic memories would soon take their place. Will two people who very much love their independence be able to find a lasting happiness?

Exposed is a sinfully hot story. Donna Kauffman brings us both a hero and heroine that alot of people can relate to. They have a strong likeable character and they are able to put their fears of taking risks aside in order to have a better and happier future. I just wish that some of my train rides in the past could have been as exciting as this one was for Austin and Del. *g*

All three stories in Bad Boys Next Exit were well-written, sizzling hot and great reads. I highly and enthusiastically recommend this story.
