Cousins Adrian and Ash Darkwood have journeyed to Russia to meet the Wawkalak pack, lead by Nikolai Tamits (Bitten). It's the full moon and the entire pack, including children, has gathered together to celebrate their transformation. Ash is looking forward to hunting with another pack when he catches sight of his mate. Yet, she is not going to give into their destiny very easy.

Lilia had never wanted to be treated as a delicate female and had worked hard to make sure her pack didn't see her that way. This American threatened everything she worked for. She knew he was her mate, but didn't want to admit it. Would giving into her feelings really be that bad?

As Lilia and Ash spend their nights indulging in sensual arts, they must spend their days getting to know each other. Will their destiny, as mates, be enough to bind these two independent werewolves together?

Short but a complete scorcher, Mating Season is a wonderful addition to Ms. King's wonderful Moon Lust series. Even though Mating Season only has forty pages, the reader cares deeply for Ash and Lilia. We want them to be happy and to retain their independence. Even more thrilling is the fact we know there will be yet another book in this wonderful series. If the ending is any indication the next story will be about Adrian Darkwood (first introduced to readers in Bitten and seen again in Mating Season). Don't miss this keeper!

All Julia wanted was to perfect her chosen art and find a love like the characters in the romance novels she read. What she got was an alpha werewolf looking for a mate.

Working at the reception desk of a hotel, Julia was counting the hours until she could go home when he appeared. Tall, golden and completely mesmerizing, Nikolai Tamits was just the type of man, Julia had always dreamed of. Then he did the most amazing thing, he sniffed her and licked her cheek. Julia thought she would burst into flames then and there. She wanted him, in the most primal way possible, but why would such a gorgeous man want someone like her?

Nikolai had come to America to settle some business for his cousin's wife. Due to her pregnancy and the fact her husband was a werewolf, made it imperative she remain with the pack in case the baby came early. Trapped among the steel, glass and concrete building of New York, he was ready to go home. That was, until he found her. In that moment, Nikolai knew Julia was his mate and he wanted her desperately, but would she still accept him if she knew the truth?

The two embark on a sensual, sexual journey, learning much about the other. This had to be love, right? Julia couldn't get him out of her head or her soul, even when he told her the truth about his nature. When Nikolai loses control, accidentally bites her and rushes off, how will she cope? Will their love survive?

An incredibly erotic novel, filled to the brim with scorching sex, vivid characters and my most favorite of all paranormal creatures: werewolves. I began reading Bitten hoping I wouldn't need to read the first book in the Moon Lust series to understand what was going on and thankfully, I didn't. Ms. King weaves the characters from Book I into Bitten, but in such a way the reader doesn't feel lost or forget this is Julia and Nikolai's story. Nikolai is one of the best alpha males I've ever had the privilege to read about. Not once does he become overbearing and demanding; in fact, he is constantly worried he will accidentally harm his mate Julia.

I quickly fell in love with Julia and Nikolai and the world Ms. King created. I will definitely be purchasing Moon Lust, the first in the Moon lust series and will be starting Moon Lust III: Mating Season very soon. Don't miss this amazing series!
