Erin Grayson has a mission-- to seduce Reece Champion and see if he's supporting the organization that destroyed her life. What she doesn't count on is that she's being used, with Reece as bait.

For Reece Champion-- being a vampire and Magekind, he senses the latent power within Erin, but he's not willing to be the one to change her. Yet, all of the Mageverse is at risk if he doesn't, for there's a power out to destroy the Mageverse and the people within it. Can they work together, use their powers, and allow themselves to love each other in order to save not just Mageverse, but Earth as well?

This novel takes a unique look at Merlin and Nimue as well as the Arthurian legend. Between the hilarious one liners and the deep plot, Angela Knight provides you with a erotic love story that rocks from the word go. I've read Ms. Knight's other works, but of them all, I enjoyed this one most of all. The tension between Erin and Reece is fabulously tight and each time something happens, you feel their attraction and love grow. The secondary characters provide wonderful support to the plot as well as make you feel at home in the setting.

Truly an outstanding novel, if you like vampires, King Arthur, or something different-- then Master of the Night is one book you'll not want to miss.

Valerie Chase has dreamed of Cowboy for years-- first as a protector, then as a lover. Yet nothing prepares her for the truth-- Cowboy is real and his name is Cade McKinnon. For Cade, the dreams that he and Valerie share are a symbol of just how deep she's affected them from their initial meeting so long ago. But when forces threaten to hurt Valerie, Cade will do whatever is needed to keep her and her sister safe. That is...all but the one thing guaranteed to help-- the one thing that will scare Valerie silly-- the Forever Kiss.

Valerie is an interesting heroine. Fiesty, kickass, and willing to do what is right. The only thing I found that I didn't like about her is that she whined too much throughout the book. Even after things happened to save her life, she harped on one thing over and over to the point of ad nauseum. Except for that one point, I really liked Valerie's style.

Cade is a man, I mean vampire, to lust for. Though he has his own guilt complex-- like almost killing Valerie so long ago, he's also a man trying to move forward. With his sister, who is a spirit, Cade has broken free of the monster that created him so long ago. Now he's enamored of Valerie and when that monster threatens her, it's time to take out the bad guy. And you can't help but root for him.

This is a great book. Though, as I said, the whining was a bit much from Valerie, it only distracted a little from the overall story. What I did enjoy was the action, the erotic love scenes, as well as the well developed plot. Well written, Angela Knight has proven herself as one of the top vampire romance novelists on the scene. I can't wait to read more of her.
