For the past several months, Cassandra had been dreaming about a little town called Greenwood. In her dreams, she saw a man swimming, hitting a brown log and then dying. Her dreams haunted her and she knew she had to act.
Cassandra knew she had a gift. It wasn't always one hundred percent accurate, but she knew she couldn't ignore it. So here she was driving across the country, stopping at all the towns called Greenwood, hoping to find the right one before it was to late. She was only a few hours away from the next Greenwood on her list when her tire blew. A passing stranger in a large pick-up stopped to see if she needed help. As soon as she saw his face, Cassandra knew she had found the right Greenwood. Her Good Samaritan was none other than the man from her dream.
Dan normally didn't stop when he saw a broken-down car, but the sight of a beautiful woman banging on her car hood was stimulating. Granted, her exclamation of surprise at seeing him was a bit strange; Dan was pretty sure he could get over whatever odd hang-up she had. At least that's what he thought before he learned she could see glimpses of the future.
Having been burned by someone who was into New Age philosophy, there was no chance in the world he'd hook up with Cassandra, even after he verified her gift with police friends. So why was he unable to get her out of his mind?
Cassandra knew she had to help Dan, how else would the dreams stop? Giving into the physical desire burning between them, they make a deal to work together until the dreams stop and the mystery solved. Just a few days into their partnership, both realize they are in love with the other. Will Dan be able to accept Cassandra's gift before he loses her forever?
Ripe with emotion, Man of Her Dream is my favorite type of romance. The kind where you don't know right off the bat there's going to be a happy-ending. Don't get me wrong I want the characters to have a happy-ending; I just don't want to know it three minutes into the story. Throughout the entire novel you knew without a shadow of doubt Cassandra and Dan were destined for each other. It was revealed in every word and every touch, but Dan was so determined not to let his life be ruled by fate. No matter how much he loved Cassandra, he didn't believe he'd ever be able to accept or live with her gift of sight. I was on the edge of my seat, hoping these they would be together.
Ms. Knight is an extremely talented author and speaking from experience, one who knows how to give the reader exactly what they want and still remain true to her characters. Do not miss anything by this wonderful author.

After putting their four-year-old daughter to be, Katherine returns downstairs to her husband where he asks to hear a story. After listening to her husband's suggestion, Katherine starts the story....
Charlotte Gambrell met her Prince Charming under an awning while trying to escape a sudden downpour. Problem was she didn't recognize her prince charming for what he was. A design layout assistant at a bimonthly magazine, Charlotte's prince worked at the same magazine as a photographer. The downpour ending as quickly, Charlotte is about to head back to work when she notices her clothes. She is soaked to the bone and even though she had worn a slip, you could see everything. Cooper Hunt, her unknown prince, offers her his sweater and they walk back to work together.
To Charlotte's dismay, she was late for a meeting with her superiors. Granted, she did most of their work, which was probably why they were so upset that the magazine owner had dropped in for an update. Of all the days for James Clarkson to drop in for a meeting. She looked horrible and knew it. Ever since she started working on the magazine four years ago, Charlotte had been in love with James. He was her Prince Charming; she just knew it and had to convince him of that fact. But how?
For some reason, she turns to Cooper Hunt. Even though she just met him the day before there is some connection and she feels comfortable asking him to teach her all about sex and seduction. Although he has his doubts, Cooper agrees. He didn't anticipate falling in love with her.
Will Charlotte realize which man is her Prince Charming before it's too late?
The Cinderella Curse is a remarkable twist on the traditional fairy-tales. Watching Charlotte try to figure out what she truly wants instead of what she thinks she wants was eye opening. As the story progress, you can clearly see how much she loves Cooper, even though she denies it to herself. Ms. Knight has written a wonderfully unforgettable story and I look forward to reading more of her work.
