Victoria Thompson cared for only two things: making money and protecting her company's image. She would do anything to keep "undesirables" out, even ruin innocent lives. Unfortunately, she underestimated her opponent, Justin Stormcloud.
Justin Stormcloud was beyond pissed. Furious didn't even begin to come close to describing his current emotional state. How could anyone threaten to destroy another's life to achieve his or her aim? He didn't understand her motives, but he knew exactly what Victoria Thompson needed. Besides, revenge is always fun.
Caroline couldn't believe her luck. Due to a change in plans, her sister Victoria would be unable to stay in the non-refundable suite in Las Vegas. Hating to lose money, she had offered the suite to Caroline, pointing out that all meals had already been paid for. After plenty of persuasion, she decided to take a well-earned company-paid holiday. Las Vegas was just the place for her to relax and enjoy herself, maybe even pick up a man or two. Caroline never expected to find one waiting for her.
It was the perfect payback: seduce the Ice Witch Victoria and take photos during the weekend. Justin was really looking forward to teaching her lesson. But what happens when instead of a domineering woman, he finds a voluptuous red-haired goddess named Caroline who's ready and willing to play?
Goddess above, what an arousingly fun read! This is one of those "make sure you have plenty of ice and a cold shower nearby reads". Ms. Lapthorne expertly combines the erotic and the humorous to create an unforgettable novel. With such entertaining and dimensional characters, you're sure to find yourself hot and bothered throughout the entire novel; I know I did. *ggg* I look forward to reading more of Ms. Lapthorne's work.
