His Brain, Her Brain goes where no other book has successfully gone before - inside the male brain. Okay, the authors delve into the female brain as well, but if you're a woman you've already been there and done that. And that's the beauty of this book. Whether you're a male scratching his head in wonder at something the woman in your life has just done, or a female seriously trying to connect with that special guy, these pages will give you a solid understanding of the divinely designed differences between the sexes. Men and women really do think differently, and this book answers the question: "Why?"
The authors combine solid research with years of counseling experience to bring readers a book that will undoubtedly impact their lives. If you've ever been intimidated by the thought of neuroscience, get comfortable and allow the Larimore writing team to put some important concepts into everyday language. By understanding and accepting the physical and emotional differences between men and women, you will be better able to relate to everyone in your life. Interesting facts like women being able to see more colors and smell more odors than men, keep the book "real". There is plenty of "take-home" information here; these details will factor into your everyday lives and give you an entirely new perspective.
But getting along with the opposite sex isn't all this book is about. It also gives you a glimpse into your own brain. (But don't worry-it doesn't get gory!) You'll be both amazed and appreciative of the scientific explanations of how your brain functions.
His Brain, Her Brain highlights the unique differences in brain chemistry between men and women in an extraordinary way to bring the sexes closer together in love and admiration.
