Acier Gautier was on a search for the vampire father who had left him, his brother and shapeshifter mother to fend for themselves or die at their birth. This goal he set out to accomplish before he took over the duties waiting for him as alpha of Pack Gautier. The moon was full and he was in prowl heat, the last thing he needed was his adopted father's youngest daughter coming and staying with him for a prolonged visit; but Mo, his adopted father wouldn't take no for an answer, asking that he care and protect his youngest while she was with him.

When the fully grown and very tempting Raven arrived, Acier knew that he needed to leave her immediately and take care of his more basic animal lusts that were consuming him, otherwise he would not help but ravish the sexual alluring Raven. After a night of mind blowing animalistic sex, will Acier be able to come back to Raven and resist his most basic wants and needs?

Moonlight Desires is a well-written story that grabs you from the beginning and never lets you go. The sex scenes are very hot and explosive, the story well told and the hero is a strong man with strong convictions and a man you can't help but fall in love with. Marilyn Lee is a great author with a wonderful imagination that she shares with her readers. Acier's "pets" are so unique and intriguing. Where can I get one? Moonlight Desires is a wonderful, sizzling hot story and one that should not be missed.

Dani Tyler was a mother of two, a bit plump and tired of being alone. Lately she had been having wild, forbidden sexual dreams. What was wrong with her? Older women don't have these types of dreams any more, right?

Dani's daughter, Janie, was turning twenty-one and talked her mother into going to a local male strip club in the next town. She even picked out an outfit for her mother to wear. While sipping a drink, Dani sat with her daughter and watched the parade of good-looking men on the stage but it was the last dancer who drew Dani. Tall, dark and extremely sexy. The man in front of her was every woman's fantasy, especially Dani's. Liquid heat pooled between her legs, a sexy voice whispered in her head and it seemed her hands of their own violation couldn't help but touch the piece of magnificence in front of her. Dani didn't know what had gotten into her and when she talked to this man in the parking lot and he tells her how much he wants her, she just couldn't resist. It was just one night where she could fulfill all her secret fantasies. Just one night of forbidden lust... or was it?

Aleksei was a four-hundred-year-old vampire well practiced in the black arts; a man every woman wanted and was responsible for trying to keep his rebellious, unstable twin brother out of trouble and from learning the secret that Aleksei had been hiding for over fifty years. He wanted to find love but couldn't afford to while his responsibilities were still so enormous. But there was something about Dani Tyler that kept drawing him back to her and her warm luscious body. It could be the hot sex they had, but Aleksei had a feeling it was more than that. But how can he be with Dani, keep Vlad out of trouble and protect the family he has come to love all at the same time? Will Aleksei and Dani be able to over come all the great obstacles they both face to find everlasting happiness?

Bloodlust IV: Nocturnal Heat is a story with a great, suspense-filled plot, very hot sex and strong, well-developed, likeable characters. Both the hero and heroine are very strong people with a strong love for their families. They both have a strong sense of responsibility for those that they love and care for. While they both have many responsibilities, they don't let this stop them from going after what they want from this world.

Nocturnal Heat is book four of the Bloodlust series written by Marilyn Lee. It is possible to read these stories alone, but I recommend that the Bloodlust series be read in book order to fully understand the background and characteristics of each character mentioned in these stories. I should say these WONDERFUL stories. Ms. Lee has a wonderful and talented knack of telling stories so that the readers feel like they are their living the stories right along with the characters. You get so caught up in the story while reading it, anxiously turning the pages to find out what is going to happen next, that before you know it hours have passed. Hours that you sit there rooting for the hero or heroine, smiling at the funny or sentimental places and sighing or moaning out loud at the intensely hot sex. All in all, this is a great story and the Bloodlust series are, in my opinion, ones you just cannot miss. Thank you AGAIN Marilyn Lee for a wonderfully entertaining read!

Reviewer Note: The first story in the Bloodlust series can be found in the Things that Go Bump in the Night anthology also available at Ellora's Cave.
