Little Fox has a new baby brother. Life with Baby Fox wouldn’t be so bad, but Little Fox is expected to play quietly and Daddy Fox is always busy with Baby Fox. He even sings Little Fox’s special lullaby to Baby Fox. Who needs a baby brother?
Too Small for Honey Cake is a must have for growing families! Lobel accurately depicts an older sibling’s feelings regarding the new arrival. Little Fox is endearing and his father’s way of handling Little Fox’s outburst is inspiring. Braun’s illustrations are sweet and heartwarming, adding depth and emotion. Absolutely perfect!
