Kevin Colin was the best private detective money could buy. He was the best at what he did and proved it everyday by the types of clients that approached him from every corner of the world. When approached by the Greek government to stop one of their own from stealing artifacts, Kevin recruits the only woman he believes can do the job in question.
Layla Swann is ex CIA. She's smart and deadly, and a bombshell. Just what Kevin needs to properly pull off this assignment. The fact that he's attracted to her is a moot point. Because Kevin never mixes business with pleasure. When Layla shows interest in return, can he stick to his rules and keep his hands and body to himself?
Three Nights in Greece by Therese MacFarland was fast paced filled with romantic interludes. You watched and wondered if Layla would be relaxed enough to make their relationship look believable. At the same time wondering if Kevin would be able to successfully deny his growing attraction to her. This short was top notch and is a definite recommendation. My only complaint was that it was too short; I wanted to read more.

Lucy St-John had a problem. She had to find a man she felt comfortable enough with to help her relax so she could get through her on screen love scene without mishap. When Detective Jack McGuire shows up to ask her a few questions concerning the murder of her ex-boyfriend, she believes she's found the one person who can help her relax. And she's willing to do anything for his help, including pay him.
Jack takes one look at infuriating vixen and is lost. He isn't sure what to do with her or about her. Her offer throws him completely off guard; he can't understand why a woman like Lucy would need his help. Will he agree to her conditions?
Therese MacFarland did an awesome job with Out of My League; it's not every author who can write both long and short novels that grip you from page one. She made you feel bad for Lucy when she was feeling unsure, and annoyed at her for not speaking her mind. Watching Jack flip flop from wanting Lucy to trying to keep his distance from her made me sympathetic to him. Therese MacFarland did a wonderful job.
