Victoria Manley offers readers a bit of everything in her anthology collection, The Boy Toy.
Reggie learns what it means to belong to a woman in The Boy Toy. In Ebony and Ivory, Evan learns the way to Leann's heart isn't through chocolates or flowers, but an abandoned kitten. Comfort comes in many shapes and forms in Regarding Ava. Laura surprises her husband Lance on his return from a long business trip in The Little Red Panties. A lunch break turns into an erotic private show in The Window. A trip to Vyonne's Intimates and a bra fitting ends quite unexpectedly, but not unhappily for Bridget. Taking the Day Off features a husband persuading his wife to stay home and play. An erotica author is hard at work on a non-erotic mystery until his wife shows him how much more fun it would be as an erotica in Sheriff Harold. Porterville County Lake is a popular hangout for the local teens but a criminal on the run makes one couple's night one they'll never forget.
A nice collection of stories, The Boy Toy was a quick and fun read. The characters, even in the shorter stories, were all quite developed and dimensional. I especially liked the fact that the stories were tastefully written and different. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Manley's work.
