Furious Pursuit will forever change the way you think about God. Bringing theological truths to a personal level, the authors show a side of the Almighty that is often overlooked and misunderstood.
Many believers think their relationship with God is defined by how well they keep His commandments. The end result is a life punctuated by tentative encounters with One who seems to be harshly critiquing their every move. Fear and frustration rise to the surface, smothering the joy and peace that is promised in the Bible. God becomes silent in their lives because it seems they are not spiritual enough to connect with Him.
Thankfully, this mindset is wrong, and the authors prove it from Scripture. These pages overflow with sensitivity, wrapping readers in a blanket of love and genuine concern. The Father's heart is unveiled, one moment at a time, providing readers with a tangible feeling of comfort. The idea of God pursuing us is both daring and delightful. Heightening the awareness of the very real presence of the Lord brings with it a sense of adventure as well as a quietness of spirit.
Although the writing is casual and informal, there is a contagious sense of enthusiasm and excitement in these pages. As false beliefs are shattered, a glorious picture of the incredible love God has for us is assembled. Most noteworthy is the authors' own reflection of that love, as their words caress readers with a measure of the Lord's mercy and tenderness.
Furious Pursuit runs with a bold and biblical insight!
