Dr. Kearnan Gray has worked in a Wolves' preserve for a long time. Three years ago he had hired Serena as his assistant. He was hesitant but since she liked wolves and the wolves liked her, he had given her the green flag. Since then he has had his eye on her. He wants her, but he has never been able to get near her. It is as if she feels the attraction too and is trying hard to avoid him. He has finally decided that his future includes Serena and he has to have her. He can make her want him. But can he make her love him? Will she love him when she will come to know all his secrets?

Serena Wilde is a werewolf. Running away from her pack several times to escape the attentions of the pack-leader Alex and not to succumb to the pressures of her grand-mother, she has found a safe haven in Kearnan's preserve. It's the longest time she has ever lived in a place. Even though the place is safe, she somehow feels threatened by Kearnan. She wants him but she has never wanted a man before. Whenever Kearnan comes close to her, she tries to ward him off. But how can she ward him off when her needs seem to be getting better of her?

Judy's Heat Book 2: In The Heat Of The Night is the story of the son of Artemis Gray from Perfumed Heat. But it is an independent story in a different setting. This book is a combustible combo of red-hot passion and tender affection. The feelings that the characters encounter in the book are explored in vivid detail and the sensuality is so powerful, the possessiveness so inevitable that you feel envious of the main characters. Kearnan and Serena both are admirably dynamic and strong selves that have been presented very well. Judy knows to wrote a werewolf story and how! I was overwhelmed by this fascinating story and look forward to the stories of Kearnan's siblings Brendan and Belle.

In the day or night, you definitely have to read In The Heat Of The Night.

Moira Archer is frustrated with her boss Sylvia James who bitches about almost everything. Even though she has developed the most-selling perfumes for James Parfumes, she is not given due importance. She would have quit if not for her grandfather's expensive medical bills. When she meets Artemis, he openly humiliates Sylvia and Moira is impressed. But Sylvia blames Moira for the degradation. Moira just can't take it any more. But what she cannot bear even more is how Artemis is acting like he owns her. Despite being exasperated by him, she is undeniably attracted to him. What is happening to her?

Werewolves mate for life unless their mates die young. Artemis Gray had a perfect mate once. No one has been able to replace her after she died. But when he encounters Moira, his instincts start screaming that she is his mate. Artemis is a man who follows instincts. He is after her before she can blink. But he can't seem to make her submit to him. Can he tame this spirited female and make her his?

Judy's Heat Book 1: Perfumed Heat moves at break-neck speed and is like hair-trigger dynamite. The combination of an alpha male and an alpha female is breath taking. The passionate encounters will surely make you squirm in your seat. The story has the perfect amount of emotion and passion to make it extremely intriguing and provocative. It is amazing how Judy has created a full story with developed characters in a 45-page quickie.

Perfumed Heat has a delightful wolfsbane scent, which everyone should savour at least once!
