Josh Black needs to tell Cassidy St. George that he's in love with her. For some reason, however, he can't seem to tell it to her straight. Their long-term friendship is going too well to be ruined if this is one-sided, but he just has to tell her. He's been trying to tell her via his alter ego, Jack Block, and his comic strip. But, she's not getting the message, so it's now Christmas morning and he's finally ready to confess. Little does Josh realize that Cassidy has a Christmas wish of her own in this warm holiday tale by McCarthy. The delightful treat in this novella is that Cassidy has been reading Josh's column, but believes Josh is in love with another woman. YOU, ACTUALLY is a story that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
Six terrific and multi-talented authors put together a delightful holiday six-pack. Though each story is short, there is a warm sense of completion with each story. If you want to curl up on a cold night, with a warm cup of hot chocolate, make it a double or a triple, because you are not going to want to put Merry Christmas, Baby down.
