Isabelle Pentriss sat in her small apartment in Kansas, jobless and penniless. She had always been a person that was able to "read" people and their aura's, not that it helped her in whatever job she had; people with psychic abilities were always somewhat frowned upon on Earth. Feeling depressed and like a failure she listlessly scanned the galaxy-wide job opportunities on the tele-communicator. One ad leaped out and caught her eye: a Female Empath was wanted by the House of Borgio on the planet Fortuna. Before Isabelle could lose her nerve or change her mind, she hurriedly answered the ad and set up an appointment; heck, she had nothing to loose anyway.
From the first moment Isabelle saw Prince Zeff Borgio she was left breathless by his masculine beauty. His presence was so overwhelming that when she shook his hand, her senses went into maximum overdrive, leaving her unconscious. Some first impression she must have made.
Zeff had been waiting for this beautiful woman for a very long time. She was all that he thought she would be and much, much more. Will he be able to open this shy, conservative woman up and make her realize the stunning beauty she has on the inside as well as the outside? Will he be able to get her to accept this job of a lifetime, a job that entails more than being the House of Borgio's Empath but one of being the keeper of his heart?
Empath Wanted is a quick and fun read that will have you laughing when you least expect it, panting from the sizzling love scenes and sighing at the intense love and need the hero has for the heroine and not afraid of showing it. The story flowed smoothly, the plot unique and all the characters were very likeable. Ms. Meadows is a wonderful new author with a talented way of telling a story and one that I'm going to have to watch very closely so that I don't miss out on any of her future releases. Being a reader who has a great love for good futuristic romances, Empath Wanted did not disappointment me one bit but left me anxiously turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. For those readers who love a great romantically hot futuristic story then this is one not to be missed.
