Everything about this book was designed to appeal to the reader. Clever and intriguing chapter titles invite teens to take a closer look at what's inside. There is a steady progression of ideas, with the first one examining the role the mind plays in everyday living. Heartbreaking facts about teenage drinking, sexual activity and drug abuse prove there is no place to hide on this very real battlefield. Misguided thinking can lead to serious problems or even death. Yet, the authors show a clear and realistic approach to survive the daily onslaught of errors.
