The mystery behind the attack on Joe in his own apartment is something the police force wants to figure out. To Joe's surprise, the person sent to protect him is none other than Lindsay, his old partner from the force. Joe hasn't seen Lindsay since that fateful day of the car accident that altered his life forever, leaving him blind.

Lindsay Rushton ran away after that awful accident two years ago, afraid that Joe would not be able to stomach her physical scars. Now she's back, with all the same feelings she left with and a vow to keep Joe safe. The hard part is figuring out who is trying to kill Joe.

What will happen when Joe lets Lindsay know he wants to pick up where they left off two years ago? Can this mysterious killer be found? Will Joe and Lindsay be able to stay alive and explore the sparks of desire that never really died?

Lexi Moore definitely knows how to put suspense and sex together into a great short story. I was instantly pulled into the book and rooting for a happy ending for Joe and Lindsay. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Moore's work.
