Live, Laugh, Love Again is hope for a hurting heart! Women who are in any stage of a divorce can confidently pick up this book and find the encouragement they need.
The authors are absolutely amazing! Although their personalities are different, all of them walked out of a lawyer's office with a divorce decree in their hands. Their candid stories are able to impact a wide audience of women readers as they contribute insights from their respective viewpoints. The candid writing style rings with reality as it sensitively, yet purposefully, touches the hurt places in a woman's heart. It's obvious that these gals have been there, done that, and lived to tell their tales! That alone provides a huge amount of support.
These pages systematically progress through the five stages of grief, as outlined by Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. Working within this framework allowed the authors to explore the emotional aspect of this subject in a comprehensive way. Their personal accounts, mixed with some friendly suggestions and biblical counsel, confidently lead readers through the emotional minefield of a divorce.
Yet, even though the authors have successfully moved on with their lives, they each credit their faith in God as the foundation for their survival. While they offer practical advice and warnings about possible pitfalls, they quickly acknowledge that the source of their wisdom and optimism comes from a solid belief in God's personal care for them.
Written with compassion and true Christian love, this book is a gentle hug for all women who are going through a divorce!
