Three of today's best authors come together to show us what happens when three separate couples find their true love with the help of a magical necklace in Mystic Visions.
(Future)
Xandor is a fourth level wizard trying desperately to reach the final fifth level wizard. Using his great magic, he mind travels and is pulled across the galaxy to the one woman who excites him like no other. Confused as to what this means, Xander meets and consults with Master Talorg, the great fifth level wizard who is head of the wizard school on Varzkar.
Master Talorg advises Xander on what he needs in order to reach the coveted fifth level and allows him to use the sacred Dragon Fire magic to help him find what he seeks. Xander painstakingly creates a magical necklace in the shape of an eye with a single tear on it. The necklace will help the person wearing it find their one true love of all time.
Will Xander, with the help of the magical necklace, find his true soulmate? Will he be able to obtain that last fifth level he desperately seeks?
Myra Nour takes us on a wonderful and exciting adventure into the future with Dragon Fire. This story was very well written and the different worlds very believable. The hero was a sincere man that you couldn't help but admire. The heroine, a lovely woman who cared for all those around her; whether it was people, animals or plants. The sex scene's sizzled in their intensity.
Mystic Visions, three wonderful stories that telling the journey of one special necklace that help's its keeper find their one and only love... their soulmate. Across time and space, no distance is long enough if true love is to be found. I highly recommend Mystic Visions written by some of today's very talented authors. Please check Myra Nour, Sahara Kelly and Ann Jacob's websites to find out more about these wonderful authors.

Eric had been captured by guerillas on his last mission. He was also severely injured and tortured. The Volarnians rescued him. Surprised, but happy, Eric is now safe. He's especially happy because he'll be able so see his sister again. His sister Olga had been brought to Volarn last year as a captive bride. Her story is in Love's Captive, also by Ms. Nour.
When Eric arrives on Volarn, this is when he meets his warrior princess. Eric looks into her eyes, and sees his future. Eric is certain that this woman is going to be his wife, or life mate, as they are called on Volarn, and the mother of his children. Will Kasha simply accept the Earthman's suggestions?
As attracted as Kasha is to Eric, she is extremely irritated by his persistence. When Eric gives Kasha the ultimatum of marriage, not lovers, she refuses. Why is that? What prevents Kasha from acting on her feelings towards Eric? Is there more at stake than Kasha is willing to admit? Why is Eric so determined not to settle for being Kasha's lover? While this situation creates a standoff for Eric and Kasha, she tries to hide her growing wonder for him.
One day, months later, while Eric has been training with Kasha's other warriors, Kasha decides she is going to force Eric's hand. As Kasha's urges have become stronger, she decides to practice her non-existent flirting skills. Eric finally gives in. Does this satisfy him? Will their bond as passionate lovers bring them closer together or will their individual stubbornness drive them further apart? Is it true Volarn customs prohibit their women from marrying Earthmen? If so, why is Eric so determined to marry Kasha? Kasha resists for a long, long time. Why is Kasha so stubborn about marriage?
The humor in Heart of the Dragon is always right on time. Whether it is the teasing between Kasha and Eric, or when Kasha decides to try and seduce Eric, it is great. Kasha will endear herself to readers. Her stubbornness is not without reason, and created a strong sense of sadness with me as I read the book. I was thoroughly impressed with Eric. He is "the" hero to love. He is a tremendously compassionate person. He loves animals and children. He excels in martial arts, and is a former member of an elite fighting force. In Heart of the Dragon, Eric's skills with animals - from Belle, the konkol, to Sheila the yasmir, and Puff, the basami, or baby dragon - really shine.
Heart of the Dragon takes us on a wonderful journey of adventure, passion and discovery. Ms. Nour has created a world that is very exciting. The sights, sounds and smells seem so real. The various creatures on the planet Volarn are a lot of fun. There are also strong supporting characters in this book that added to my enjoyment.
Heart of the Dragon is the second book in the trilogy of Volarn. The first is Love's Captive. When you complete this story, read the exciting excerpt from the third book, The Princess and the Barbarian, which is now on my to be bought list.
