Since she was eighteen, Briana had been visited in her dreams by a shadowy dark figure; in the latest one, her shadowy dream lover took the form of a werewolf. On vacation in New Mexico, Briana was enjoying the relaxing and stress free atmosphere of the spa where she was staying. Deep in the night, after one of her erotic dreams, Briana felt restless and decided to take a drive through the surrounding area. As she was driving she heard a beautiful song in her head that called to her. In a somewhat hypnotic state she drove towards whatever was calling her.

The next morning Briana found herself in what looked to be a state park. Deciding to stretch her legs, she took a walk and felt compelled to climb up the mountain where she found a cave and inside a very handsome man who claimed to be her mate and told her things she was not ready to hear. What else could she do but run deeper into the cave and away from the man. Little did Briana know that this cave held a portal. A portal she unknowingly stepped into. Briana is in for some life-altering changes and it's good thing Raynor is there to try to help her adjust. Will Raynor be able to help Briana come to terms with who she really is? He will have to if they want to find their way back to their own century.

Myra Nour's Shifter's Desire Book 1: Vampire Fangs & Venom is one story that is out of this world...making the reader anxiously turn the pages to see what happens next and when you come to the end of the story all you can do is sit there and say WOW. This is a fabulous story. The plot is different than any you have seen before and the characters are wonderful people. We are given plenty of adventure and the sex scenes VERY hot. Myra Nour did a suburb job in writing this tale. I know I will definitely put this story on my keeper shelf and read it over and over in the future.

Serena, a wrestler, had just finished a match with her nemesis Olga, and was waiting outside for her unreliable boyfriend to pick her up when out of the dark foggy night two very short men dressed in trench coats came up close to her and told her they had come for her. Suddenly she noticed herself being enveloped in a bluish light before everything turned black. Hours later she woke up and to find she and ninety-nine other women from Earth had been kidnapped by aliens and were being taken to the planet Volarn, were they were desperately in need of fertile mates. They were taken in order to help save the diminishing population on Volarn.

Once on Volarn the women are taken to stand before the Volarnian warrior men to be chosen as mates. Serena doesn't like this at all, but finds herself drawn to Rhamus, the King of Volarn. They are made to go through a strange Tarthra ceremony, which leaves them sexually aroused and enchanted by their chosen mates. After the Tarthra ceremony they are married to these aliens they know nothing about.

After one failed attempt to escape the planet Volarn, Serena knows she must make the best of the situation she now finds herself in. She had no family back on Earth anyway as they tragically died years before. Serena slowly learns what she needs to know to be the Queen of Volarn as well as the customs and beliefs of this planet. She finds that she cannot resist the strong sexual pull of her husband and slowly learns that Rhamus is made of strong character and sensitive to his people's needs while still trying to fight the evilness of Xarath, who is the King of North Volarn.

Xarath will do everything in his evil power to bring down Rhamus so that he may rule over all of Volarn. Even kidnapping Rhamus' new wife and making her his. Will Rhamus be able to save his new love, his wife, from the evil clutches of Xarath before physical and mental harm come to her? Will Serena be able to put her old and new fears and hurts behind her and find a happily-ever-after with her new husband, Rhamus?
