This is part two of the Adventures in Blood series by Madeleine Oh. This is not a stand alone and it is highly recommended you read the first book Contract in Blood before starting this tale.

Sexy Rand and Drake are back in Partnership in Blood. The bounty hunter Gorlan locked up Rand and Drake and left them for dead. Rand did the only thing he knew of and used Drake's blood to become a vamp. With Drake's help, he proceeded to overcome and kill their captors. Rand knew they would need another crewmate to fly his ship and look after them when deep sleep claimed them daily. On a nearby planet they interviewed several people and reluctantly agreed on a person who had experience and had no problem giving her blood to sustain them. There's just one slight problem...Rand has never been with a woman. Will he be able to do what his necessary in order to survive? Will the men agree to the dangerous mission their new crewmate must embark upon?

Partnership in Blood is a continuance of Madeleine Oh's Adventures in Blood series. Ms. Oh does a superb job in starting off in the same place where Contract in Blood ended. This story is not as action packed as its predecessor, but is still amazing and scorching.
