Cindi's fiancé had told her that he was going to his bachelor party, which had been arranged by his friends, a weekend long party. After telling her that her friends didn't like her, she got the impression that they'd be pushing him into the arms of other women, so she stowed away on board his sailboat. Waking up the next morning Cindi was shocked to find herself in the middle of nowhere, water surrounding the boat, a stranger on deck, not the fiancé that she expected.

After Luke bought Jason Townson's boat, Jason told him that there was a surprise on board for him. Much to Luke's surprised pleasure he found that his surprise was a beautiful woman. The only problem was, she was Jason's supposed fiancé that he apparently gave away without her knowledge. Luke knew Jason was a jerk and that he gave away his castoff women, but seeing how shocked Cindi was, her self-confidence shattered, Luke decided that he would rebuild her confidence in herself.

Although Willing To Tease had an interesting blurb, I found how easily Cindi slid into sex with Luke bothered me. She was engaged to a man, found out that he gave her to another without her knowledge and the anger she should have felt at the betrayal just wasn't there. Luke is sweet and sexy, and went out of his way to make Cindi feel wanted and special, but his falling into and declaration of love was totally rushed and without real basis in my opinion. Cindi was too emotionally shallow for me to like her; I simply couldn't bond with her character after her lack of reaction to being dumped by the man she was to marry…especially after appearing to be handed off to another man like a piece of property. Willing To Tease could be a wonderful story if the emotions and actions of the characters were more true-to-life.
