Lucy Hart has been running and hiding from a painful past for the past three years and thought she finally found a place she could call home. She thought just maybe she had found some much needed peace. Yeah, well that is what she gets for thinking. In just one night and day she finds her carefully put together life falling to pieces when a no good drug dealer, who she works with at a diner, breaks into her house while she was in the shower He handcuffs her to the shower rod and blindfolds her, of course she's naked, and then proceeds to not only take pictures of her but decides to take all her money as well before leaving. Just what is a girl to do?

A mysterious man with a sinfully hot, sexy voice comes to her rescue or so she thought until he kidnaps her because of her so-called association with Gort the slimeball whom he was after. Kidnaps her, leaves her handcuffed and blindfolded and wearing only a towel and drags her to who knows where in search of his prey.

Lucy quickly surmises that her kidnapper could only be the very tough and diligent bounty hunter, Rider the man who is said to have eyes like steel and a heart of ice. She is dragged into a dangerous situation and taken by a man who inspires fear in others. Why is it that when Lucy should be scared of this tough man, she isn't? Is there something wrong with her for becoming sexually aroused by his sinfully deep voice and soft questing hands? Extremely aroused by his somewhat caring and protective manner of her? Somehow and for some reason this mysterious man makes Lucy finally feel free from all the restraints her life has put on her. Makes her finally feel free to be who she deep inside really is. But is Lucy just imagining things? Can she really be free? Is there some possibility that she can find happiness with a man with eyes like steel and a heart of ice?

Wow, wow, wow! The Bounty Hunter by M.L. Rhodes grabs you from the very first sentence and doesn't let go until you've reached the very last page. The story keeps you intrigued and anxiously turning page after page to find out what's happening next. There's action and adventure, sex scenes that leave you hot and bothered, love and romance. While this story is short (52 pages) it has everything very nicely packaged together that just about every reader is looking for in a story. Lucy is a tough and spunky gal that doesn't let the bad things in life get her down...and Rider? Oh my goodness, he is a hunk above all other hunks. A nice package on the inside and out. I just want to know one thing.... where can I find a "Rider" of my very own? Go pick up The Bounty Hunter by very talented author, M.L. Rhodes.... I'm sure you will not be sorry. I know I wasn't.

Sheila Quinn had once been a skilled and decorated police officer that has now turned into a bodyguard for the rich and famous. When someone shot at and tried to kill the sinfully handsome and sexy porn star, Taylor Knight, Sheila was hired to protect this muscled hunk until his stalker could be arrested.

Sheila takes Taylor to a safe house in hopes of being able to protecthim better. After spending some time with him, Sheila finds that Taylor is not who he seems to be or the image of what she believed him to be. She finds that he is not as superficial as she thought he would be, is a man more grounded and secure in himself despite his famous profession.

Sheila knew her work was cut out for her on this assignment. She was a firm believer in not mixing business with pleasure. But will she be able to resist the sexual innuendos and steaming looks coming from Taylor? And while she was hired to protect Taylor from the stalker after him.... who will protect her from the intense feelings Taylor makes her feel?
