Sheila Quinn waits to be seen by Mr. Taylor Knight, a blonde god aka X-rated film and magazine star. She's to protect him and already he's violated one of her commands by giving a press conference. They verbally spar and though neither is truly the victor, Sheila is on edge by the man's words. She had been suckered by her old captain into taking this job, but she didn't realize that Taylor had taken it into his head to try to seduce his protector. She'd been burned by men before and she didn't trust him one bit.
Tucker Grayson smiled as he watched Sheila stalk off. He was pretending to be his twin brother. He was there to find his brother's stalker, but hadn't counted on being saddled with a bodyguard. Though nothing worked on getting her to quit the job, he found himself attracted to the curvaceous woman. Can he trust her with the truth? Hell, can he trust her with his heart? Sheila is getting to him and the feeling is mutual. There has to be a way to capture his brother's stalker and have her as well.
What happens is a twist that's unexpected. Once again, M.L. Rhodes has given us a wonderful story that has emotion, suspense, and erotic moments that leave you wanting more. The story is well crafted and gives a sense of fulfillment with the ending. Truly, The Bodyguard is a treat for those who like high sensuality with a dose of suspense.
