There was no getting around it; she was going to have to hire more security. She was being stalked and this time her stalker had almost attacked her. Alyssa Edwards hated the idea of someone else taking care of her; she was a fighter, strong and stubborn. On her publicist's recommendation, she hires Sundown Security; they were a local firm and had a good reputation.
The owner of Sundown Security, Vlad Maksimovitch assigned Christian Galaino to watch over Alyssa. She knew the moment Christian walked into Vlad's office she was in trouble. She wanted him and was willing to do whatever necessary to keep him. Alyssa didn't know where that thought had come from but it reminded her so much of her deceased mother she was a bit brusque with Christian.
Sunshine and apples. Everything about her proclaimed light and goodness...things he could no longer claim. Alyssa was truly out of his reach. They could never be together; Christian knew this. So why did he want to mark her, proclaim to the world she was his?
Despite her conflicting emotions about Christian, she agrees to him being her bodyguard for her next three speaking engagements. However, it is not her stalker who poses the greatest threat to Alyssa. Bazhena, a very old, very powerful vampire, is determined to kill her.
In a mere twenty-four hours, Alyssa's life went from ordered and controlled to pure chaos. Not only must she deal with her desire for Christian and the conflicting emotions her desires causes, she must also accept vampires are real. And even more difficult, she must place her life in the hands of a vampire.
Utterly amazing! After Sundown is a breathtaking new world with familiar places and legendary/mythical creatures, it holds the promise of many more tales. Redemption is beautiful. Robins creates a heroine women can relate to with the same fears all women have when falling in love. You ache; you agonize and rejoice with Alyssa, as she works out her love for Christian, her need to be in control and how helpless she feels at her intense need for him.
Not one for vampire heroes who complain or whine about being a vampire, I found myself falling for Christian. He knew why he'd become a vampire, blamed himself for the death of his betrothed and used his guilt and despair to help humankind. He transformed his tragedy into a desire, a vow, to help others.
Danger, suspense, a villainess you love to hate, gorgeous males and a love to melt the hardest of hearts, Robins promises much and delivers a hundredfold. Plus, she paves the way for future tales in the After Sundown world. Do not miss!

They had been best friends growing up, even with the three-year age difference. Peter and Wendy were inseparable. Wendy might not have completely understood Peter's desire never to grow up, but it didn't matter. All that matter was they were meant to be together always. Unfortunately, things didn't work out that way. Shortly after Peter turned thirteen his grandparents sent him away to an all-boys boarding school. For a while they wrote to each other, but eventually even the letters stopped.
Twenty years later, Wendy is returning home. A successful lawyer, she was engaged to someone compatible and with the exception of his crocodile of a mother; their life together would be good. Although she was looking forward to seeing her parents again, her trip home was a sad one. Her best friend's mother had died. Just thinking about Peter brought back memories. Memories of how much she loved him and how much fun she used to have. Wendy's memories certainly didn't prepare her for the rush of desire she experienced when she saw Peter for the first time in twenty years.
Will these two childhood playmates be able to find themselves and a destined love?
Finally, Peter Pan as it always should have been written. Lost is the most amazing retelling of the Peter Pan story that I have ever read. Ms. Robins weaves in the childhood magic in this contemporary retelling. Even though Peter has become an adult, he certainly hasn't grown up. Watching him learn you can grow up and still possess all the fun and love of childhood was beautiful. Wendy is his perfect match and watching her learn to appreciate that fun again was just as beautiful. Don't miss this spectacular read.
