Bea is tired of silly stuff she does in kindergarten; her father Mr. Jones is tired of the stress at his job. Their solution? Switch places for the day.
In this favorite tale (A Reading Rainbow selection among other honors) a father and daughter find their place in the world. I must confess that I adore this book, having read it often when I was younger.
Schwartz’ illustrations, while monochromatic, add vitality and action to the enchanting story. Fun for all ages, Bea and Mr. Jones offers parents and children a chance to reconnect.
